We’re COMMITTED TO DELIVER A SUSTAINABLE NON-GMO PRODUCT as A HEALTHy ALTERNATIVE.
High Plains Milling wants to support and be a steward for the return to natural farming. We understand that a legacy of growing genetically modified plants can lead to possible health risks. It can also encourage the overuse of insecticides, potentially resulting in chemical resistant pests and weeds in addition to damaging beneficial animals and insects. This may ultimately cause harm to the environment that cannot be reversed.
In re-opening a former corn starch syrup plant that was closed in 2004, High Plains Milling is restoring family-wage jobs lost to a relatively isolated community. We believe that this type of investment in people and existing facilities makes good economic sense for rural families in northern Texas.
